The primary combustion chamber is dimensioned to accept multiple full-sized containers per batch cycle, with fork trolley or crane loading as standard.
With multiple burn cycles per day and a controlled batch process that progresses from initial volatile release through to final burnout, a 5-box unit can handle the packaging waste output of a sizeable gold mining operation without accumulation risk.
High-Throughput Hazardous Waste Units
For operations requiring sustained high-temperature treatment of complex hazardous waste streams, we engineer units with primary chamber volumes matched to the k-factor of the waste, with a more conservative design load than standard industry practice to provide performance margin under variable waste composition conditions.
The secondary combustion chamber on large units maintains gas residence times above the two-second minimum requirement at operating temperature, ensuring complete thermal oxidation of combustible gases from high-volume hazardous waste loads.
Ash Conveyor Systems
For large units operating continuous or near-continuous burn cycles, ash extraction can become an operational constraint. ESI Scholer ash conveyor systems allow ash removal during or immediately after the burnout phase without shutting down the primary chamber, increasing effective throughput and reducing operator handling of hot ash residue.
